Job Summary
We are seeking a Overnight Pet Sitter to join our team! As a Overnight Pet Sitter you will be travelling to clients homes, and staying overnight to take care of their pets, feeding them, walking them for a designated amount of time and keeping them company overnight. You will be responsible for keeping the pets safe during your stay, cleaning up after them, giving them food and water as directed, and ensuring they are having a great time while being safe. The ideal candidate has experience working with animal of many sizes and breeds, can work outside in a variety of temperatures and seasons, and has excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Care for dogs overnights, in clients homes
- Walk dogs for the designated time over the set route
- Clean up after any dogs in your care
- Feeding and watering the pets in your care
- Use common sense and best pet sitting practices to ensure dogs are safe and healthy while in your care
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions from clients
Qualifications
- Experience working with dogs of multiple breeds and sizes desired
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required
- Own car required for work
- The ability to walk in a variety of weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of dog safety
- Attention to detail

When the training sessions stopped and the dogs inevitably returned to their aggressive behavior, frustrated customers, unsure of how to intervene, had no choice but to return for more sessions.
Fed-up with other companies’ shady tactics and over-priced necessities, Olivia invested her two decades of pet care experience into starting Sit Pretty, a pet care business that puts pet owners’ needs first.
Olivia has helped hundreds of pet owners in Westchester and Fairfield counties sit pretty by offering them the ultimate treat: high-quality, affordable pet services and training sessions they can rely on.
We never charge higher rates for special needs animals, and we always spill the juicy secrets other dog trainers keep hidden on their clipboards, close to their chests.
